Hans Brems was a student of Zeuthen's and is Professor of Economics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. A less technical, more personal Danishlanguage account of Zeuthen's life and work will appear shortly in a volume on Danish economists from the mercantilists to the present day
