The Kibbutz nontraditional system of upbringing has been carried out for about half a century without objective findings of specific pathogenicity at any age range. In the present study the author has investigated the comparative psychiatric diagnostic distribution, characteristics and intensity of emotional pathology in two groups of seriously disturbed Kibbutz and urban children referred for diagnosis and treatment at two outpatient child clinics
