W.B. Worthen is Alice Brady Pels Visiting Professor in the Arts and Acting Chair of the Department of Theatre, Barnard College, Columbia University. His most recent book is Print and the Poetics of Modern Drama (Cambridge Univesity Press, 2005), and he is currently working on writing and performance in digital culture.
