Sherwin Simmons, Associate Professor of Art History, teaches twentieth-century art and design at the University of Oregon in Eugene, Oregon. He is currently completing a book entitled Kunst oder Kitsch: Art and Mass Culture in Germany, 1900–1920 and researching German textile art during the 1910s.
