  • Time choices behind bars

Bo Liu, Yuxin Ye et al.•ARTICLE•Acta Psychologica Sinica•2026

  • Latent profile analysis of uncertainty in illness and eating self-efficacy in patients with gastric cancer and its associated factors

Open Access•Minyi Shi, Chengxi Xia et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Public Health•2026

Background: Patients with gastric cancer frequently experience substantial psychological burden throughout diagnosis and treatment. Uncertainty in illness and eating self-efficacy are two key determinants of psychological adjustment and rehabilitation. However, prior research has predominantly relied on variable-centered approaches, with limited attention to within-population heterogeneity and its correlates among patients with gastric cancer. Ob…

  • The impact of death literacy on self-management behaviors in gastric cancer patients

Open Access•Minyi Shi, Chengxi Xia et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Public Health•2026

Background: Death literacy-defined as the knowledge, skills, and attitudes that enable individuals to understand, communicate, and act effectively on issues related to death, dying, and bereavement-plays an important role in cancer patients' psychological regulation and coping behaviors. However, empirical evidence linking death literacy to self-management behaviors in gastric cancer patients remains limited. Methods: This study employed a cross-…
