  • Confronting the public health challenge of inaccessible Covid-19 home tests: Insights from the RADx® Tech Accessibility Initiative

    Open Access•Emily B Kennedy, Kim A Noble et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Public Health•2025

COVID-19 home tests first distributed by the U.S. Government in early 2022 proved inaccessible to Americans with no vision, low vision, limited dexterity, and certain aging-related impairments. The National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering (NIBIB) leveraged a multimillion-dollar investment to address this challenge via the Rapid Acceleration of Diagnostics (RADx®) Tech Accessibility Initiative. • Quantifying the Relationship between Large Public Events and Escort Advertising Behavior

Benedikt Boecking, Kyle Miller et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Human Trafficking•2019•Cited by: 3•References: 7

Our results imply that a variety of events correlate with unusual increases in sex worker activity, including an influx of providers that …

  • Leveraging Publicly Available Data to Discern Patterns of Human-Trafficking Activity

Artur Dubrawski, Kyle Miller et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Human Trafficking•2015•Cited by: 9•References: 18

These data provide a readily available proxy evidence for modeling and discerning human-trafficking activity. We show how it can be used to identify advertisements that likely involve such activity. We demonstrate its utility in identifying and tracking entities in the Web-advertisement data even if stro…

  • Fatal tradeoff? Toward a better understanding of the costs of not evacuating from a hurricane in landfall counties

    Open Access•Jeffrey Czajkowski, Emily Kennedy et al.•ARTICLE•Population and Environment•2010•Cited by: 2•References: 15
