The Role of Abstract Thinking in the Development of Civilisation
I analyse the role and the significance of abstract thinking, which Koneczny believed to be fundamental to the development of civilisation. Following a general reconstruction of his views, I argue that civilisations differentiate themselves through abstract concepts that can never be fully objectified.
