The Stripe Paradox
An account is given of a phenomenon of binocular vision called here ‘The Stripe Paradox’. The name refers to a peculiar property exhibited by a set of stripes: that of resisting all attempt to produce double‐imagery regardless of their positioning relative to the two optic axes.
