La cuenca del trigo de la ciudad de Puebla, México (1810-1855)
El presente trabajo analiza la relación entre la producción y el consumo de harina de trigo en la ciudad de Puebla en su periodo preindustrial de la primera mitad del siglo XIX. The Devil, Women, and the Body in Seventeenth-Century Puebla Convents
The mystical and supernatural experiences that many nuns faced in seventeenth-century convents in Puebla shaped New Spain's spirituality. These experiences and the way they were recounted provided the elements for an archetype of conduct and for socially accepted virtues. Using their imagination, these nuns, servants of God, enlightened and morally exemplary, maintained a direct relationship between the convent, the supernatural world, and coloni…

An analysis of notarial documents relating to sixteen prominent families elucidates the relationship between types of religious images, their settings, the spatial distribution, and the participation of the spectator in the process of learning religious values.
