Authoritarian Traits as Predictors of Preference for Candidates in 1980 United States Presidential Election
Responses of 42 males and 42 females to a questionnaire containing items from the dogmatism and F scales showed the right-wing candidate supporters were higher on authoritarianism than adherents of either moderate Republicans or President Carter; left-wing liberal candidate supporters were lowest.
