Independence of Ambulation and Defecation in a Low-Frigtening Open Field, Manifested in a Generational Study
The main purpose of the present paper has been to make evident that ambulation and defecation scores in a low-frigtening open field are independent. Subjects with highest and lowest expression of the ambulation character are selected. Mating like with like will tend to increase the mean score in subsequent generations giving two lines: high and low ambulator ones. The effect of ambulation upon the leve1 of defecation is analized. The results show…
Biological Substrates of Aggressive Behavior 1. Neurochemical and Hormonal Control
There is a large evidente, mainly in subhuman animals, that the cerebral neurotransmissors and some hormones, i.e. androgens, play in a way or another the role of regulators ofthe aggressive behavior. In this paper we study the work of several researchers that throw some light on the way the neurochemical and hormonal control in that behavior is made.
Reflections on the Aggression Concept from Cognitive-behavioral Perspective
The complexity of the study of aggressive behavior has been widely determinated by the difficulties to get an accurate definition of the aggression concept. In the present paper we study these difficulties and we conclude that although this delimitation and precision is necessary, it would be also necessary to put the emphasis --at least in the scientific literature- in the description of the specific behavior that we are interest to study in eve…
