  • Analysis of Heredity Factors in the Morphological Variation of the Maxillary Lateral Incisor by a Twin Model

    Open Access•Shintaro Kondo, Masanobu Matusno et al.•ARTICLE•Anthropological Science•2010•References: 19

  • Tooth size in individuals with congenitally missing teeth: A study of Japanese males

    Open Access•Hiroyuki Yamada, Shintaro Kondo et al.•ARTICLE•Anthropological Science•2010•Cited by: 1•References: 1

    There is evidence of a relationship between tooth size and tooth agenesis in human populations, with a tendency for reduced tooth size in individuals with missing teeth. The aim of this study was to analyze the size of remaining teeth (mesiodistal crown diameters) and their variability in individuals with varying degrees of severity of congenitally missing teeth. Tooth crown diameters were recorded from 100 dental plaster casts of Japanese males.…

  • The Way of Cusp Formation: A Review from the Development, Variation, and Evolution of the Tooth and Their Molecular Mechanisms

    Open Access•M Tabata, Makoto J Tabata et al.•ARTICLE•Anthropological Science•2006

  • Secular Change of Third Molar Agenesis in the Japanese Population

    Open Access•Hiroyuki Yamada, Shintaro Kondo et al.•ARTICLE•Anthropological Science•2004•References: 32
