Most Holy Forms of Thought: Some Observations on Blake and Language
In an extraordinary passage at the end of Blake's greatest achievement, Jerusalem, he describes more fully than anywhere else in his works the apocalypse-the reachievement of four-fold unity, the marriage of Albion (the Grand Man) and Jerusalem (his emanation), the reintegration of the four zoas, the four senses, the four faces of man, the four compass points, the four elements-all that had been sundered by the Fall.
