Recovery of cultural heritage objects from the sea in light of the 2001 UNESCO Convention on the protection of underwater cultural heritage In this article, the author argues that the 2001 UNESCO Convention introduced for the first time in the evolution of the law of the sea more radical solutions aimed at the protection of underwater heritage. One of them is a far-reaching limitation of the legal possibility to recover cultural heritage objects …

Cities and their symbols. Legal conditions for marketing use of the appearance of famous monuments The subject of this article is the legal ramifications of the commercial use of well-known landmarks by the cities where they are located. Calvinism and to a small extent Antitrinitarianism became popular mostly with the nobility and the gentry, but seldom did they gain followers in other social strata of the day. Zenon Guldon, Waldemar Kowalski•ARTICLE•The History of the Family•2003•Cited by: 2•References: 5

The sources that can be employed to examine demographic aspects of the Jewish population and family in 18th-century Poland–Lithuania are sparse and mostly fiscal in origin. Since this source material has been preserved only for some periods and regions, few generalizations can be made. First, the authors have referred to the most comprehensive census that was carried out in 1791 by household in Cracow province (województwo krakowskie). It does no…
