Magnetism of Chinese loess deposits
The age of Chinese loess deposits has long been disputed. Biostratigraphical and earlier magnetostratigraphical investigations placed the entire loess formation within the Pleistocene and ascertained a maximum loess age of about 1.2 Myr.
