Resource Allocation in Agriculture
The development and allocation of resources to the agricultural sector in Guyana are examined with specific reference to government policies during two phases. Phase I (1954–1964) reflected a steady increase in the percentage of capital expenditure on agriculture which ranged from 32% in 1957 to 55% in 1964.
