Inclusive learning spaces in Australian schools
Most Australian children with disability who attend school are enrolled in mainstream schools, yet insights into their spatial experiences of school environments are limited. This research explored the experiences of students with disability in various school settings, focusing on the physical enablers and barriers to their participation (C. Imms et al., 2017). Data were collected via 18 focus groups with stakeholder groups that included students…

Student Teachers’ Study Profiles — Longitudinal Perspective to Research-Based Teacher Education
This study examined student teachers’ study profiles and achievement levels from selection through to the bachelor’s phase of their teacher education programmes. The latent profile analysis revealed two student teacher study profile subgroups associated with varying study achievement levels from the first three years of the teacher education programme. In a more detailed examination, the results revealed that the main differences occur during the…

The True Impact of Evaluation
There is a growing call for evaluation capacity building (ECB); although the area currently lacks a rich research base, there are few robust methods and practice through which to define it. The argument in this article is that the impact of evaluation is mediated by program stakeholders’ engagement in evaluation activities. This mediation provides a foundation for a consideration of the merit of ECB. This study sought to find confirmation that st…
Understanding Evaluation Influence Within Public Sector Partnerships
The importance of evaluation use has led to a large amount of theoretical and empirical study. Evaluation use, however, is still not well understood. There is a need to capture the complexity of this phenomenon across a diverse range of contexts. In response to such complexities, the notion of “evaluation influence” emerged. This article presents a theory of evaluation influence within public sector partnerships. An analysis of key concepts is us…
Health equity in the New Zealand health care system
There is a struggle to put equity principles into practice, indicating will without enactment. Equity is not addressed systematically below strategic levels and equity does not shape funding decisions, program development, implementation and monitoring. Equity is not incentivized although examples of exceptional practice, driven by individuals, are evident across New Zealand

The Statistical Analysis of Roll Call Data
We develop a Bayesian procedure for estimation and inference for spatial models of roll call voting. This approach is extremely flexible, applicable to any legislative setting, irrespective of size, the extremism of the legislators' voting histories, or the number of roll calls available for analysis. The model is easily extended to let other sources of information inform the analysis of roll call data, such as the number and nature of the underl…
