On the basis of food‐fodder‐fuel and medicinal values, six species of Ficus (Figs), namely F. glomerata, F. hispida, F. auriculata, F. semicordata, F. subincisa and F. palmate, are considered as promising tree crops for social and agroforestry in the Kumaon and Garhwal Hills of India.
