Fundamentalism and Hope in a Religiously Diverse Sample in the United States
Despite their positive relationships with health outcomes, few studies directly assess the relationships among religiosity and hope. Using item factor analysis ( N = 630) within a religiously diverse United States sample, we hypothesized fundamentalism ( H 1 : Intratextual Fundamentalism Scale, ITFS; Multidimensional Fundamentalism Inventory, MDFI; and Religious Fundamentalism Scale, RFS) and hope measures ( H 2 : Adult Hope Scale, AHS; Integrati…
Modeling Student Persistence in Online Education
This study examined the factors related to student persistence in online education programs. Using a model of persistence, we conducted five confirmatory factor analytic models to evaluate scales that measured the factors of interest: locus of control, self-efficacy, task value, satisfaction, and persistence. We also conducted and compared two structural equation models to investigate the relationships among these factors, along with achievement.…
Learners’ Experiences in an Online Learning Environment
