Cerebral Energymetabolism Reaction to Cold Stress in Young People Living in the Arctic Region
The purpose of the work is to determine the features of the reaction of brain energy processes to cold stress in young people -residents of the Arctic zone. Methods. The study of energy processes of the brain, using "Neuro-KM" hardware and software complex to record the distribution of the level of constant potential (SCP) in 97 people (49 boys and 48 girls) aged 18-19 years. Registration of the level of constant potential was carried out at rest…
Charactristics of Phosphoric-Calcium Metabolism at Various Levels of 25(oh)d in Children and Adolescents Residents of the Arctic Zone of the Russian Federation
The aim: to reveal dependence of phosphoric-calcium metabolism рarameters from 25(OH)D level in children and adolescents living in the conditions of Arctic Zone of Russia. Methods: Sampling included 430 children and adolescents (age from 7 to 16 years), 192 (45 %) boys, 238 (55 %) girls. 25-OH vitamin D, parathyroid hormone, total calcium, phosphorus, alkaline phosphatase in blood serum concentration was estimated. Results: Normal findings of D v…
(Oh)d Levels in the Population of Arkhangelsk City in Different Age Groups
Vitamin D deficit is a worldwide recognized health problem due to its role in pathogenesis and progression of different diseases. We take special interest in the study of vitamin D supply of different age group population living in the Arctic and subarctic regions where the risk of vitamin D deficit due to the low insolation level is becoming higher because of extreme climatic and geographic factors. Objective: to estimate vitamin D supply among …

Infants’ Provision With Vitamin D in Arkhangelsk Region
The problem of provision infants with vitamin D is paid careful attention in modern medicine nowadays. Prevention and correction of vitamin D deficiency are the most important tasks for the pediatric community. Special attention should be paid on providing infants living in the Arctic and Subarctic regions with vitamin D where the risk of vitamin D deficiency is high due to the low insolation level and severe climate conditions. Methods: children…
Clinical and Electromyographic Characteristic of Neuromuscular Status of Infants With Motor Dysfunction
We have studied the ante-, intra and postnatal risk factors as well as clinical and electromyographic (EMG) features of the neuromuscular status in infants with the motor dysfunction syndrome (MDS). The received anamnestic data has detected an extragenital pathology of mothers, peculiarities of the intranatal period and co-morbid factors. EMG analysis has shown that linear and nonlinear parameters in the group of the infants with the MDS differed…
