    Unsuccessful peer support interventions rarely receive detailed ethnographic attention. The article examines a peer support intervention part of a randomised controlled trial designed to provide people with type 2 diabetes socio-emotional support while adopting self-care technology.     Health technologies to monitor glucose values are an important part of daily diabetes self-care. Based on 12 months of fieldwork in Denmark with 14 people with type 2 diabetes, I explore people's experience of living with Continuous Glucose Monitoring.
