Career Women in Israel
This study was carried out on career women in high status positions in Israel. Factors of family structure related to women's occupational mobility chances were investigated. Women in high status positions were expected to originate predominantly from sibling groups composed solely of daughters, and to be, disproportionally, the youngest daughters in their family.
