Miracles in the Making of Twentieth-Century Spanishness: Ramón Menéndez Pidal, Buñuel’s Viridiana and Isidro El Labrador
This paper will suggest how the recounting of miracles (the first textual, the other filmic) was designed to support a particular ideology of Spanishness during the twentieth century.
