Imaging spectroscopy as a quantative tool for the retrieval of biogeophysical parameters
Representing the dynamic character of Vegetation in global climate modelling is a challenging task. We present a new Instrumentation approach in the form of APEX, an airborne imaging spectrometer to address the key variables and processes relevant for monitoring the biogeophysical and biochemical parameters at the local, regional and national scale.
