    Robert L Hale, Shawn D Whiteman et al.•ARTICLE•Psychological Reports•2003

  • An exploratory factor model of social area analysis

    Robert L Hale, Robert Hale et al.•ARTICLE•Sociological Spectrum•1997•References: 1

Social ecology theory promotes the idea that the social structure of any given area influences the behavior of the social group in that area. One model of ecological theory is Shevky and Bell's social area analysis, which presents three constructs to describe and measure urban differences. • Response Agreement

    Open Access•Robert L Hale•ARTICLE•Educational and Psychological…•1981

A program to compute a response agreement matrix is described. Such a matrix may then be used as input into factor analytic programs of the user's choice in order to provide a pattern analysis of test results, symptom checklists, or any other dichotomously scored variables. The program currently prints the agreement matrix and punches cards which may be used as input for the two frequently available package factor analytic programs. Such informat…

    Robert L Hale•ARTICLE•Multivariate Behavioral Research•1979

This investigation analyzed the discriminatory or diagnostic utility of using WISC-R subtest scores in differentiating between groups of statistically defined underachieving children and a group of children who were adequately achieving. The sample consisted of 206 children (134 boys, 72 girls) referred for psychological evaluations by their classroom teachers. The results suggested that while underachieving and adequately achieving groups of chi…
