The Egyptian Nubians: Resettlement and Years of Coping
Dams, People and Development: The Aswan High Dam Case
The author examines the Aswan High Dam project in Egypt from 1963 to the present with particular reference to the impact on the people most directly concerned. The resettlement of some 100000 Nubians in Sudan and Egypt is described the problems analyzed and guidelines for future resettlement projects of this kind discussed (ANNOTATION)
