    Anthony M A Smith, Anthony Smith•ARTICLE•Studies in Conflict and Terrorism•2005•Citada por: 2

Although Jemaah Islamiyah (JI) is a pan-Southeast Asia jihadi network, it has been able to headquarter itself in Indonesia, where it has also been able to find the lion's share of its recruits. This article finds that there is little support for hardline Islamic political movements, or even violent jihadi groups, from the wider population. Yet at the same time the public is skeptical about the existence of an international terrorist problem. Not …

Of the 464 condoms used by study participants, 13% were put on after initial penetration. …

Open Access•Fiona J Stewart, Anton Mischewski et al.•ARTICLE•Critical Public Health•2000

Sexual identities lie at the heart of social and public health writings about sexual health risk and, as such, are often subject to uncritical assumption and imposition. In this paper, a critique is offered of such discourses along with the equation that sexual identity can predict the nature of practice within and outside the bedroom. In doing so, the authors draw on the findings of two recent independent yet conterminous Australian qualitative …
