Maternal Health Policies in Countries in Transition: Poland and Kyrgyzstan, 1990–2006
Starting with the initiation of democratic and market economic transitions, unsupportive policies concerning women's reproductive health were implemented in Kyrgyzstan and Poland in the period 1990–2006.
