    本研究の目的は日本語版Ten Item Personality Inventory(TIPI-J)を作成し,信頼性と妥当性を検討することであった。TIPI-Jは10項目で構成され,Big Fiveの5つの因子を各2項目で測定する尺度である。TIPI-Jの信頼性と妥当性を検討するために,計902名(男性376名,女性526名)を対象とした複数の調査が行われた。各下位尺度を構成する2項目間には有意な相関が見られ,再検査信頼性も十分な値を示した。併存的妥当性と弁別的妥当性の検討のために,FFPQ-50(藤島他,2005),BFS(和田,1996),BFS-S(内田,2002),主要5因子性格検査(村上・村上,1999),NEO-FFI日本語版(下仲他,1999)との関連が検討された。自己評定と友人評定との関連を検討したところ,外向性と勤勉性については中程度の相関がみられた。これらの結果から,TIPI-Jの可能性が論じられた。
