Este articulo presenta el estudio de las estructuras hidrulicas conocidas como represas, ubicadas en la subcuenca del Ro Jimbe en la cabecera del Valle de Nepea (ncash), a partir de prospecciones sistemticas en el rea referida. La investigacin permiti registrar 14 represamientos prehispnicos dentro de tres distintas quebradas.
