This article tells the story of the Kentucky Student Voice Team (KSVT), a youth organization that is working toward educational justice in Kentucky by amplifying student voice in education research, advocacy, and policy. In particular, this study examines what makes a healthy intergenerational partnership. Challenges and opportunities within contemporary collaborative research are also discussed
