Intimate Partner Violence and Health: Can Resilience Mediate the Effects
The association between intimate partner violence (IPV) and poor physical and mental health outcomes for women is well documented. Resilience impacts physical and mental health. Participants with high resilience were found to have better mental and physical health outcomes. Those with higher resilience also reported stronger ties and use of these factors to overcome their challenges

Economic Abuse in Lebanon: Experiences and Perceptions
This article explores the experiences and perceptions of Lebanese women and men with economic abuse. Data were drawn from focus group discussions and face-to-face interviews with men, women and social workers. The findings reveal that Lebanese women experience many forms of economic abuse, including the withholding of earnings, restricted involvement in the labor force, and limited purchasing decisions. Inheritance laws and practices still favor …
