This qualitative study explored the desires and sexual culture of men who have sex with male-to-female (MTF) transgender women. In-depth interviews were conducted with 20 men in New York City and San Juan, Puerto Rico. Participants were asked about their sexual and romantic histories, their experiences with MTF transgender women, and their perceptions of HIV risk. Social Network Factors Associated with Sexually Transmitted Infections Among Formerly Incarcerated Latino Men
This study examined the association between social network factors and sexually transmitted infections (STIs) among formerly incarcerated Latino men. The Liebowitz Social Anxiety Scale (LSAS) is one of the most commonly used measures of social anxiety symptoms. To date, no study has examined its psychometric properties in a Latino sample. The authors examined the reliability, temporal stability, and convergent validity of the LSAS in 73 Latinos diagnosed with an anxiety disorder.
