The structure of ceramic exchange at Tikal, Guatemala
Two models of Lowland Maya socio‐economic organization are tested using ceramic data from Tikal, Guatemala. Patterns of similarity between assemblages derived from the models are compared with actual patterns of resemblance revealed through a multi‐dimensional scaling analysis of selected shape classes.
