John Philoponos (philosophy and theology)
John Philoponos (ca. 490–570 CE ) was an Alexandrian Miaphysite Christian philosopher, exegete, theologian, and polymath who composed numerous commentaries and treatises on subjects of the Late Antique educational curriculum and on religious problems of his day.

This text, the editio princeps of which was published in 1887, has not been studied since 1901.
