Initiator Status and Separation Adjustment
This paper discusses initiator status and separation adjustment. The author is concerned that previous research concentrates on comparisons between non-initiators and initiators. It is argued that rigorous descriptions of the experiences of choosing or not choosing separation and divorce are needed in order to contextualize comparisons.
