    Rachel Feldhay Brenner, the Elaine Marks WARF Professor of Jewish Studies at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, passed away on Thursday, February 4 in Madison. Born in Zabrze, Poland in 1946, Brenner moved to Israel with her family in 1956 and went on to study at the Hebrew University, Tel Aviv University, and York University in Toronto.     Most work on the socio-political significance of sport in Northern Ireland has tended to focus on the ethno-sectarian divide. A football club such as Linfield, therefore, is customarily viewed in terms of its close relationship to Protestantism and Ulster Unionism.
