Building health-promoting school environments: A longitudinal qualitative study of the Explo’Santé program in France
Introduction: Health inequalities among children and adolescents remain a major public health concern, with schools identified as key settings for integrated, context-sensitive interventions. The Explo'Santé program was developed in France to promote life skills and foster health-supportive school environments by targeting school-level determinants, including relational dynamics, organizational processes, and classroom environments. Methods: A lo…
Medical students’ perceptions of AI-based feedback and feedforward on communication skills in doctor–patient consultation - an acceptance study in a video-based simulation
Feedback and feedforward are highly relevant in promoting students' learning. With advances in artificial intelligence (AI), new opportunities to support feedback and feedforward are emerging. However, few studies have explored how medical students perceive and accept AI-based feedback and feedforward in medical communication training. In this study, we explored medical students' perceptions of AI-based and avatar-mediated feedback and feedforwar…
Historical primers and paints used for aeronautical protection and colouring during WWII: A multi-techniques approach on archaeological parts
Multi-techniques for consistent determination of historical aeronautical paints composition. • Identification of the main fillers and pigments in the aeronautical paints of four nations: Germany , France, USA and Italy. • Nitrocellulose base-paint was traditionally applied on French and German WWII aircraft. • Study providing useful information for conservation and restoration. Aeronautics for military or civil applications effectively pushed sci…
Validation and application of the Non-Verbal Behavior Analyzer: An automated tool to assess non-verbal emotional expressions in psychotherapy
This study shows that emotion recognition with NOVA can be used to generate ERMs associated with patient emotions, affective experiences and symptoms. Nevertheless, limitations were obvious. It seems necessary to improve the ERMs using larger databases of sessions and the validity of ERMs needs to be further investigated in different samples and different applications. Furthermore, future research should take ERMs to identify emotional synchrony …
