Faunist Complex of Tytkescen-Vi Settlement (to the Issue of the Beginning of Cattle Breeding in the Altai Mountains)
The article is devoted to the publication of osteological collections of the multi-layered settlement Tytkeskene-VI in the Altai Mountains. The settlement is confined to the estuary part of the left bank of Tytkesken - the left-bank tributary of the Katun in its average flow. In the Tytkeskene-VI settlement, stratigraphic observations give a relative chronology, and radiocarbon dates allow obtaining and comparing the absolute and calendar dating …

Despite this, it is necessary to continue the search the complexes that will provide essential informat…
Middle Neolithic Ceramics from the Tytkesken VI Settlement Site
The Tytkesken VI settlement is one of the key sites of the Neolithic, Chalcolithic, and Bronze Age in Gorny Altai. The Middle Neolithic ceramics from Tytkesken VI parallel with synchronous and later vessels from Tytkesken II as well as those from the Afanasyevo burials at Kuyum and Ulagan, Go…

Two more arrowheads were found at Peresheyechnoye VI (Gulbische) and Krivoye-1 in the Southwestern Altai. The Kelteminar arrowheads from the Altai can be classifi ed into three types acco…
