Este artigo realiza uma análise crítico-interpretativa do poema “O Verme e a Estrela”, de Pedro Kilkerry, poeta reconhecido tardiamente como um dos mais originais do Simbolismo brasileiro, especialmente após a publicação de ReVisão de Kilkerry, de Augusto de Campos (1985). O estudo examina o uso de versos octossílabos, comuns nos cancioneiros hispânicos e franceses, o que confere musicalidade ao poema, conforme tratado de Rogério Chociay (1974). …
