  • Effectiveness of a Mexican Health Education Program in a Poverty-Stricken Rural Area of Guatemala

    In this article, the authors discuss the transfer to Guatemala of an integral health education program, originally developed for indigenous women in southern Mexico.     This article reports on the development and administration of a programme in seven rural villages in the Mexican state of Oaxaca to address high rates of cervical cancer.
