    A Jon Magoon•ARTICLE•Educational Researcher•1978•References: 9

The purpose of this brief review is to apprise educational researchers of some potentially important developments in evolutionary biology, to outline this proposal as it is spelled out in new books entitled Sociobiology (Wilson, 1975) and an exceptionally good primer (in paperback) for social and behavioral scientists Sociobiology and Behavior (Barash, 1976), and tie this emerging field into at least one educational researcher's summative account

  • Note on Measures of Association

    Open Access•A Jon Magoon, Victor R Martuza•ARTICLE•Psychological Reports•1972

Glass and Hakstian (1969) recently presented a very convincing argument against the indiscriminate use of several proposed “measures of association.” The emphasis in this note is on where and when these indices would be appropriate, an issue not clearly delineated by the earlier critics. An example is included, and an extension made to multivariate applications
