Government Capital and Minority Enterprise
In this article we use anthropological, economic, and historical methods to perform a post hoc benefit/cost analysis of a Farm Security Administration resettlement project that involved Black tenant farmers in Gee's Bend, Alabama. The research concludes that the effort was not economically worthwhile from government and societal points of view, even at low rates of discount.
