    Antecedents and consequences of adolescent parenting were examined using a representative national sample of 1000 30-year-olds selected from the 1960 Project TALENT participants. Three- to four-hour interviews were conducted with these 30-year-olds. Ten percent of the men and 31% of the women had a child during adolescence.
