  • Folk Curing With a Psychedelic Cactus in the North Coast of Peru

    In the opinion of the plant specialists the main causes of cracks in the coke oven lining were as follows: intensified oven operation, high oven heating levels, presence of low-fusing materials in the charge, and possibly the use of low-quality refractory materials. Methods are described to prevent further damage to coke ovens caused by cracking and to increase their service life

In many cases, folk healers curing by means of herbs or psychedelic drugs employ the naipes as psychological adjuncts to their therapy.
