Sleep Parameters and Quality of Life in Children with Monosymptomatic Nocturnal Enuresis
Although often considered benign, monosymptomatic nocturnal enuresis (MNE) can significantly affect various domains of children's quality of life. This study aimed to investigate the relationship between polysomnography-derived sleep parameters and quality of life in children with MNE. Forty-four participants aged 8-12 years, with a diagnosis of MNE, underwent polysomnography and completed a quality of life questionnaire (PedsQL). Multiple linear…

Searches were performed up to November 2021 in BVS Psi…

Severe insomnia was defined as a score above 21 on the Insomnia Severity Index. Age, …
Association of Maternal Depression and Anxiety Symptoms with Sleep Duration in Children at Preschool Age
Our study showed that sleeping less than 10 h/day at preschool age was associated with moderate/severe maternal depression symptoms. These results are important from a public health perspective since strategies designed to treat depression in women with school-age children may help improve their child's sleep quality and, consequently, his cognitive performance and related behavioral and emotional problems in the future
