This large-scale cohort study provides valuable insights into sedentary behavior patterns among pregnant women in Japan. To reduce the amount of time engaged in sedentary behavior during pregnancy, the planning and management of time spent watching TV and playing video games as well as establishing exercise habits before pregnancy are recommended
Association of air purifier usage during pregnancy with adverse birth outcomes
Our results suggest that avoiding maternal air pollution exposure during pregnancy may be useful in preventing adverse birth outcomes. These findings provide evidence supporting the development of protective measures against air pollutants in the gestational period by relevant health agencies
