Choices for Living: Coping with Fear of Dying (Path in Psychology)
Although many books are written about bereavement, and focus chiefly on terminal illness, very few are written about the fear of one's own death. In contrast, this book looks at the way in which the fear of death operates on a back burner throughout our lives, and how that influences the choices we make and the paths we follow. Short‐ and long‐term effects of marital disruption on children
The short- and long-term (5 years later) effects of parental marital disruption on the psychological adjustment of children were examined. A representative community sample of urban families (N = 1,034) in which 25-50% had experienced marital disruption constituted the sample. A behavioral classification of welfare children from survey data
From survey data on 1000 urban Welfare AFDC children aged six to eighteen, a hierarchical cluster analysis yielded six distinct behavioral types of Welfare children. Characteristics of each type, and its relationship to treatment, ethnicity, and other variables are discussed. Advantages of this system of behavioral classification for research and population assessment are outlined

Differences in the behavior of welfare and non-welfare children in relation to parental characteristics
This paper reports differences in the prevalence of various behaviors of children and parents in two large but markedly different socioeconomic samples from the same urban area. For child behavior differences between samples, the relationships of parental variables to those behaviors were examined using multiple regression techniques.
