In this paper, we contribute to an agenda of developing culturally informed practices, centering specifically on working with Asian Indian and Asian Indian American families. A more accessible approach to using multicultural counseling competence is presented to bridge the researcher-practitioner gap and increase the likelihood of quality clinical services.
