  • Multivocal Stories About Caring During the War in Ukraine, as Told by Polish Researchers

    Open Access•Elzbieta Perzycka-Borowska, Colette Szczepaniak et al.•ARTICLE•Culture Studies ↔ Critical…•2023

The text introduces the idea of a “new normal” in connection with the ongoing war in Ukraine, which affects not only those who are directly involved but also those who experience it indirectly. The study used collective autoethnography to identify common motives and patterns of action. There were presented statements of three women—university lecturers from three Polish universities who struggled with worries and conflict of conscience regarding …

  • The Reverberations of War

    Open Access•Kala Dobosz, Anna Kacperczyk et al.•ARTICLE•Culture Studies ↔ Critical…•2023•Cited by: 3•References: 7

  • W „mikroświecie macierzyństwa” – doświadczanie samotności macierzyńskiej w badaniu autoetnograficznym

    Open Access•Colette Szczepaniak•ARTICLE•Przeglad Socjologii Jakosciowej•2022

  • The Praise of Collective Autoethnography

    Open Access•Paulina Wężniejewska, Oskar Szwabowski et al.•ARTICLE•Culture Studies ↔ Critical…•2020•Cited by: 11•References: 43

The article is a palimpsest created as part of the project of collective autoethnographic writing. Its multiple forms formed the basis for the community and the intensification of friendly writing. After the assemblies, there were remnants. The remnants of practices from which one could crack meanings-but these are not the most important ones. This peculiar collection of artifacts is presented with a frail hope that the remnants still contain a m…

  • Friendly Writing as Non-inquiry

    Open Access•Marcin Pławski, Oskar Szwabowski et al.•ARTICLE•Qualitative Inquiry•2019•Cited by: 6•References: 32

We are a group of evocative autoethnographers who have been cooperating on various autoethnographic projects for several years. In the article, we deal with the problem related to the realization of a project concerning collective autoethnographic writing. The idea seemed quite simple: By referring to the previous events related to the writing of collective autoethnography and the event of current writing, we wanted to grasp what it is and what i…
